We have embraced recent and significant developments in flexographic printing equipment technologies in order to provide our customers with the highest quality printing possible. We can control color tighter than typical industry standards with our state-of-the-art ink dispensing system and computer based color measuring equipment. Our newest 67” wide (63” printable width) 10 color press is gearless and controlled by the latest servo drive systems. Combining this with our front end capabilities results in printing proficiencies that approach the precision of gravure. We also continue to utilize 6 and 8 color 47” wide traditional presses to serve our wide variety of customer needs. This combination of presses enables us to economically produce long runs, short runs, high end graphics, or simpler designs. Printing styles range from screens, to vignettes, to half tones and process work. Special effects can also be obtained by printing transparent inks over metalized films or the use of metallic or pearlescent inks.
Our Typical Print Configurations Include:
- Registered Print
- Random Print
- Surface Print
- Reverse Print
- Continuous print
- Clear Coatings for a variety of properties
- Matte finish
- COF Control
- Heat resistance
- Scuff resistance
In addition to traditional printing configurations, we also have the capability to print folded film on both sides on our 67” wide press. Front-to-back panel registration can be held within 3 mm (1/8”) in the machine direction and 1 mm (1/32”) in the cross direction, while color-to-color registration is maintained at our normal precise standards.
With consumer demands pushing package printing toward shorter, more frequent runs, with emphasis on speed to shelf, we will continue our focus on flexography as the premier process for flexible packaging.
